About Tom
A graduate of the
United States Naval Academy, Commander Tom Garcia became a carrier
based fighter pilot for the Navy. He attended the Navy Fighter Weapons
School (Topgun) and continued his naval career as an air combat
instructor pilot, teaching military pilots for many years the art of
air combat. He flew the F-14 Tomcat, F-16 Falcon, F/A-18 Hornet, F-5
Tigershark, and A-4 Skyhawk.
As a Naval Officer,
Commander Garcia was a leader in charge of men and women at the age of
23. He was immersed in an environment full of great leaders where he
learned and developed his leadership skills. He has served as a
Maintenance Officer, Training Officer, Quality Assurance Officer,
Administrative Officer, Safety Officer and Operations Officer.
Later in his military
career, Commander Garcia was the Executive Officer of the Tactical
Training Group Pacific Special Reserve Unit 119 where he oversaw the
contingency planning, training, and multi-agency coordination of
international security scenarios such as the one we see today with the
Taliban trying to take control of nuclear armed Pakistan.
As a leadership management consultant, Tom has worked with billion
dollar corporations' CEO's and senior VP's to establish leadership
business models as well as improve operations and the bottom line. He
has spent years working with the healthcare industry improving patient
safety and reducing operational costs. He has also worked with NASA, U.
S. Government, Corporate Aviation, Commercial Aviation, Hospitality and
the Energy sector.
Tom also has been a commercial airline pilot for American Airlines for
19 years flying international routes to South America and Europe.
Tom most recently ran for U.S. Congress in Florida�s District 24. He
received many endorsements during the race including iCaucus, the
largest conservative grassroots organization in the country.
Tom Garcia is married to the former Nancy Doering and has two beautiful
daughters.

For 26 years, Paula has held
several positions, in various
industries.Most
recently, she was asked
to Co-Host an Internet Radio Show entitled, “The American Hour” with
Commander
Tom Garcia, as well as joining InventivEnergy, a startup in the energy
sector,
with a concentration in IPP consulting.Paula has taken on the tasks of business
development, specializing in
social media marketing, as well as coordinating the activities of a
team of seasoned
professionals in the energy sector.She
handles the execution of development strategies for the organization,
as well
as marketing, to secure new clients/contacts by identifying target
clients for
revenue producing results.
Paula is a professional with an
overwhelming understanding of the
business development environment; a resourceful and intuitive leader
who
positions, promotes, and understands customer-oriented initiatives,
especially
within the energy sector; an effective team builder and motivator that
create
winning transactions.Her
relationship
platform delivers solutions and services to a variety of clients and
has an
excellent understanding of the dynamics of local, regional and global
product
markets; her ability to coordinate and facilitate all client activities
and
deliverables, is unmatched.
Before InventivEnergy, Paula was
the Regional Administrative Coordinator
at Competitive Power Ventures, Inc., responsible for the coordination
and
facilitation of all back office support services.She successfully orchestrated all functions
within several energy project lines while maintaining the highest
standards of
customer satisfaction of all the regional offices.
She is in possession
of various Certificates of Achievement for
Project Management, acquired through VillanovaUniversity. Paula
resides in Braintree, MA.
In
her personal time, Ms. Lauzon-Ostman enjoys playing a good board game
with her
son, spending time with her family and friends, learning new skills and
bettering herself. Some of her favorite
areas of interest are football, photography, singing, dancing,
gardening, and
light construction.
